Founder
Having worked in marketing and sales, Jessica discovered the transformational effects of yoga and mindfulness practices whilst working as an events coordinator in India. These tools soon became part of her daily life, helping her to support both her physical and mental health, and she became ever more fascinated with the cutting edge neuroscience discoveries emerging around these ancient practices. She decided to retrain as a yoga and mindfulness teacher, specialising in teaching children and adolescents.
Most of her teaching was done in businesses and schools and she witnessed first hand how introducing mindfulness completely transformed the atmosphere of these environments. After working on several initiatives to integrate mindfulness into schools, teaching kids tools to support their own mental wellbeing, she repeatedly encountered the same lack of funding obstacle. She founded LUME to make mindfulness accessible to all offices and to overcome and solve the schools’ funding problem.
What is mindfulness?
Mindfulness is the practice of repeatedly bringing one’s attention to a fixed point of focus, noticing when you become distracted, and then leading your focus back again.

Learning the scientific principles around Mindfulness and Meditation in the first session was incredibly useful. Being able to understand how it works, helped me understand, in part, how and why to meditate, and activate & develop the ‘grey matter’ part of my brain.
